Who We Are



George Karlas
Head Chef
George Karlas was born in Perama Attikis. He was raised and lived in a small Greek Island Fournoi Korseon. He served as a naval officer until he was 22 years old. Later in life his love for cooking and his passion in creating memories for people, got him involved in the culinary world. Working many years in Athens restaurants ( Gialiskari - Nea Smirni, Versus - Mikrolimano, Plous Podilatou - Mikrolimano, Moorings -Vouliagmenis)etc. since 2012 him and his wife are operating Parea restaurant in Paroikia Paros. In 2023 he took on as an instructor for chefs in the culinary academy SAEK SYROS- PAROS DEPARTMENT. Since 2024 he leads the team Private Chefs Paros, with much respect and love to our tradition and our Island.
